 Four U of G speakers at Canada’s Outdoor Equine Expo

 
 

The 2nd annual Equine Expo promises to be even bigger and better than the first! In addition to a top-notch tradeshow, this multi-discipline event has top clinicians from around the world giving live demonstrations and presentations at Iron Horse Equestrian Complex in Burlington , Ontario.

University of Guelph professors will be there delivering seminar presentations full of valuable information regarding equine health:
  • Dr. Mike Lindinger, “Identifying, Preventing and Managing Heat Stress in Horses”
  • Dr. Peter Physick-Sheard, “Why Horses Don’t have Heart Attacks”
  • Dr. Wendy Pearson, “Clinical Nutrition of the Arthritic Older Horse”.
  Equine Guelph’s Director, Gayle Ecker, will speak about the importance of education in an ever-changing and growing equine industry in her seminar, “Developing a Career Pathway in the Horse Industry”.

 OEF 'SADDLE UP IN ONTARIO' VIDEO CONTEST

Ontario is a great place to ride and we want to tell the world!

 

The Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) and River Bend Designs are pleased to announce the 'Saddle Up in Ontario' video contest. The intent of this contest is to generate video footage that clearly depicts Ontario and is reflective of our horse industry. OEF will be using selected video footage to create a tourism video that will position Ontario as THE premier destination for horse enthusiasts!

So grab your video camera and start planning your shots for the chance to have your work appear in the final video that will be sent around the world!
