The Horse and the Gray Flannel Suit,
Equine Assisted Training in Team Building

September 15, 2008 - You may have heard the saying “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink”. The same applies to a team’s leadership. Good team leaders provide an environment of trust, open communication and clarity so each individual on their team can maximize their potential.
The Horse & the Gray Flannel Suit is a one-day team-building program unlike any other. Horses will serve as the 'model employee'. Or will they? Your horse will respond to your management style and provide you with honest feedback about your current strengths and gaps. Why use horses? Due to the nature of the horse's society, they naturally look for leadership and engage immediately with other horses and humans. By using horses to illustrate your leadership style, ways to improve your team management skills will be discovered. These new skills can be taken back to your business and implemented right away with positive results.
Throughout the day you will interact with the horse using many of the same skills necessary for your success in the business world. This is not a trail ride or off-site role playing training session. No riding experience is necessary to fully participate in the team-building experience. The horses and equine handlers will actively support you throughout the day in a safe learning environment.
This program is held at an established facility located only
45 minutes west of Toronto, just north of Highway 401.
